How my online design consults works

Your Homework!

Once I have received payment, within 24 hours you will receive a questionnaire asking you questions related to your project. I will ask you what your vision and dreams are for your project. I will ask you your color likes & dislikes.

I will ask you to send me pictures of your ideas or create a mood board on Pinterest to share with me. If you're not sure of what your desired look is, that's ok. Together we'll work it through.

I will ask you your preference to receive color recommendations in Sherwin Williams or Benjamin Moore.

You will also be given instructions on the best way to take pictures related to your project for maximum quality. I will give you instructions on how to send your homework to me. Once I receive your homework, I will start your report. Your report will be sent to you within 3 - 5 business days.

I offer 3 options as part of my color consultations. I take into consideration your pictures that you have sent me, your questionnaire you filled out, and provide you with 3 options that are the best choices for your home.

After evaluating your questionnaire & photos, you will receive your report within 3 - 5 business days that will consist of 3 options for color consults.

For color consults, you will receive 3 color choices based on your photos and questionnaire, and my reasons why I picked these colors for your room or exterior. You will also receive detailed instructions on the best way to test these paint colors.

My Promise to You!

My primary goal is to make you happy with your consult and help you create a space that you and your family will love.

For all paint color recommendations, I explain why I am recommending these colors, and I will show you how to test your paint colors as a standard industry practice. I will also be there through the testing process. You can show me your test pictures and I will tweak your colors as needed.

After you've had a couple of days to look at and digest your report, I will follow up via email to see if you have any questions or concerns. We can address your questions via email or MS Teams if preferred.

There is unlimited revisions for the consult. I will work with you until you're happy with the results.

Any additional questions not related to the original consult may be subject to additional charges.

Hi! I'm Debi

Hi! I'm Debi Collinson. Designer, Color Expert & Real Estate Investor.

So how I did I get here?

I conducted my first color consult at the age of 7 lol for my father.

My love for design started at a young age where I grew up looking at blue prints, going on construction sites and offering my opinion on color selections.

My father, a Professional Engineer, General Contractor, and co-owner of a Design|Build|Engineering firm, gave me an early view and interest into the field of designing, building and decorating. He taught me how to read blue prints, took me with him on construction sites, and I helped him with color selections for his building designs.

Since 2006, I have helped hundreds of clients create a home that they love, enjoy and looks like it belongs on a magazine page. 

My design advise to the world is ... styling your home is the BIG secret in having a home that you absolutely love as opposed to a ho hum look.

My superpower is styling your home to make it your stunning retreat all while adding value to your home at the same time!

I'm also the General Contractor on my own house flips in my spare time lol.
